1/2009 - 9/2009 Baker Concrete Construction
Project Controls Scheduling Engineer I worked as the project scheduler on two of Baker?s projects at the ThyssenKrupp Steel Mill project located in Mt Vernon, Al. The schedules were built and maintained in Primavera P6. I met with the project managers and superintendent to obtain weekly schedule updates and revisions. I rebuilt the baseline schedule for one of the projects shortly after arriving on the job site. I also performed weekly schedule analysis between the Baker schedule and the master project schedule. I was responsible for invoice approvals and maintaining project materials logs. I also scheduled Baker truck deliveries through TiSlot.
7/2008 - 12/2008- Prolific Technology Consulting Group
Projects Controls Specialist - I was a contract employee for WorleyParsons at their titanium mining relocation job site in Emporia, Va. They were the management contractors on the project being built by Iluka. Responsibilities included keeping track of the monthly cash flow, projections for upcoming months, and adjustments based on schedule changes. I helped with document controls and maintained project logs. I assisted the project scheduler with building the outage schedule. The project used Primavera Suretrak and P3.
12/2007 - 7/2008 - Enerfab
Timekeeper - I worked as a contract employee performing the duties of timekeeper for Enerfab. I worked at the KCPL Hawthorn Power Station where Enerfab is a subcontractor. I was also responsible for their office located at the KCPL Iatan Power Station when they had workers at that site. Duties included daily time entry, contractor time reporting, contract charge tickets, invoice processing, new hire processing, weekly payroll processing, and layoff check processing. I assisted the site superintendent with projects as needed including power outage man hours planning.
2/2006 - 2/2007 - The Salvation Army
Payroll Coordinator - I processed payroll for the Kansas and Western Missouri Division. This included 650 employees. I set up all new hires, updated all records, and processed terminations. I ran background checks on all potential employees. I collected all time for employees on Kronos system. I transmitted the payroll files to our printing outsource company. After the payroll checks and reports came back from printer, I sorted and packed payrolls for all offices in the division. I was responsible for all garnishments including sending payments to the different agencies. I was the first point contact for all payroll issues.
9/2004-2/2006 - Oasis Outsourcing
Payroll Specialist - I was responsible for processing payroll for various clients who outsourced their payroll processing to Oasis. This included entering employee hours, maintaining employee records, running reports to check for accuracy, and printing and packing the final payroll checks and reports for the client. I provided customer service
to our clients and helped insure all federal and state payroll rules were followed.
I also made sure that benefit deductions were correct and monitored paid time off.
1996-3/2003 - SPRINT
Corp Compensation Analyst - I was responsible for Sprint's participation in sales salary surveys. I provided sales compensation support for our field sales compensation groups. I was responsible for maintaining the job code table in our HRIS System. During the fourth quarter of 1999 I headed up a project to consolidate eight job code tables into the current one job code table which is used company-wide. I ran, wrote, and edited adhoc reports for the department as needed. I was the company liaison for the Department of Labor Statistics. I provided DOL with quarterly salary data for all employees. I loaded the yearly salary and sales ranges into the system. I assisted with various other department projects including benefit/compensation statements, and compensation planning.
Payroll Coordinator - I was responsible for all duties involved in processing payroll
for 3600 employees in multiple states. This included time entry corrections, retro pay adjustments, processing manual checks, final checks for terminating employees, and other system updates and corrections as required. As a department we processed payroll for over 83,000 employees.
1995-1996 - LA PETITE CORPORATE OFFICE
Payroll Clerk - I was responsible for all duties required to process payroll for 1100 employees in numerous states. This included setting up new employees, auditing timesheets, entering hours worked, terminating employees, doing final checks, and updating employee files using an online environment. I helped process quarterly and year-end taxes, and processed W2 forms.
